Advanced Specialty Hospitals is the Acute Care Division of the The Communicare Family of Companies. The Acute Care Division began in 2008 with the opening of our first location, ASHOT however, Communicare has been in the business of Caring for over 25 years, serving the healthcare community in our Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities.

Acute Care Division

CommuniCare’s Acute Care Division consists of Long Term Acute Care Hospitals and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals providing care for the most medically complex and highly skilled rehabilitation patients.

Adult Living Centers

Our Adult Living centers include assisted living, nursing, transitional and subacute care centers. CommuniCare also has specialty care centers for persons with Alzheimer’s or other dementias and medically complex care for persons in need of advanced therapies.

Lifestyle Behavioral Health Units

CommuniCare’s Behavioral Health Program was designed to promote optimal health and well-being of residents who have concurrent medical and behavioral conditions.

ValueCare Pharmacy

CommuniCare’s Pharmacy, ValuCare Pharmacy is an institutional pharmacy designed to provide services to the long term care environment.
